Stella had her first cake

Stella will be 1 next Thursday (!!!!) and we had planned on giving her a cupcake after dinner then. 

Well last night at the hockey game, there was a special presentation for the Make A Wish Foundation.  Charm City Cakes in Baltimore made the cake.  Do any of you watch "Ace of Cakes" on the Food Network?  DH & I love that show so we each donated money for a piece of the cake at the game.  We decided that since this cake was from a famous bakery, why not let that be Stella's first?  She LOVED it.  But I could kick myself for not taking a picture even though we just fed her a couple of bites from DH's fork. 

Oh and the brownie cake with buttercream & fondant was AMAZING!
