Terrible stomach aches from Ergo

I've been wearing DD for most of the day since that seems to help her reflux, but the past few nights I've been up all night with awful stomach pains. Today, as soon as I put it on the stomach ache came back. I tried loweri the bottom band so it's around mostly my hips, but then DDs weight is pushed into my stomach. Am I doing something wrong?
