I am such a klutz, but when it comes to my beer...

I was bringing in an 18 pack of Coors Light this evening (DH, BIL and a friend are watching the bball games) The handle ripped and I dropped it on the garage floor. Half of the bottles broke and there is glass and beer everywhere.

Can I take it back to the store and complain that it was like that when I bought it?!?!
