Night Lights?

So DH read somewhere last week how it's not good to have night lights in LO's room because it interferes with their sleep. I too have heard this before, but T's had one since she was born and I always had one growing up and never thought anything of it, but now he's really pushing that we should stop using one with her. So just curious to know....

1. Do you have a night light or something else with a small light on it (sound machine, humidifier, etc) in LO's room?

2. Thoughts on this theory? Have you found it to be true or false?
