Summer toys in the winter?

What do you do with all your summer toys in the winter? Anything like water tables, small pool, buckets, etc?

I told DH to bring the stuff inside but he insisted it was a waste of space in the garage. Well sure enough our water table is shattered ;( I'm so upset. It was just sitting outside and the ice cracked it from all the weight (and maybe expanding). I so won this one. I mean he could have at least put a tarp over stuff? I don't know, but now all of DD's plastic toys are broken. WHat do you do? Especially if you don't have space in the garage?
