Help!

What do I do to help relieve/get rid of hemorroids???  I never had them with Gavin, even through childbirth, but they've appeared this week and the last two days have been awful!  I keep reading conflicting advice - being on your feet can cause them to be worse, but sitting too long can irritate them...so what exactly am I supposed to do, lay down all day?  I don't know if I can do 5 more months of this!
