DIY Cloth Diapers

Currently, we're using a stock of BG 3.0's in pretty generic BG colors. Needless to say, I'm bored of grasshopper, clementine, etc. I've seen a lot of patterns to make diapers, but its all so overwhelming!! I'm interested in making pockets or AIOs since the concept of prefolds and fitteds escapes me for some reason.

 Do they make PUL fabric in cute patterns? I can only seem to find the same boring colors as BGs. Is it just cheaper/easier to buy them on Esty? Are fitteds/wraps/prefolds really not that hard and I'm just dumb?
