Cloth diapers & baby showers..

Just wondering if many of you ladies who registered for cd's for your baby shower, actually received many?  It's funny because it seems that many people will throw $20 towards a pack of sposies to "add on" to their gift, but with my 2 friends who were cd'ing, they didn't receive ANY of the diapers from their registry! 

I'm not due until August and was debating on beginning a stash now, or whether I should save some money and wait until my shower to see if family and friends end up buying some.  What do you all think?
