CDs cause diaper rash? Say it isn't so!

Last night while we were at the pediatrician I asked her to look at DD's diaper rash.  She said in her experience cloth diapered babies tend to get diaper rash more than sposie babies.  I always thought the opposite was true.

So what do you do to prevent diaper rash?  I really want to CD, but don't want DD to suffer for it.  :(
