What I love about being a single mom

Maybe it's not just me who is needing a little pick-me-up...

1. I keep my apartment impeccably clean, and I love that. I only have to clean up DS's and my messes.

2. I have the freedom to make wise financial decisions. Even though money is tighter, of what there is, I save as much as I want and spend as much as I want.

3. My life is simple and streamlined. When I moved into an apartment, I did some massive downsizing. Everything I now own has a function, and efficiency in everything is maximized.

4. Snoring does not keep me up at night, and I can take up the whole bed.

5. I can crank the heat whenever I want to.

6. I can buy and eat all of the organic produce I want without someone whining about it.

7. I don't have to watch football, ever.

8. I don't have to shave anything.

9. I don't have to try to impress anyone.

10. Most days, I am happier. I cry less and am let down less often.

11. And, most importantly, my home life is peaceful.
