How much info am I supposed to share with BD?

As you all know I switched jobs couple of weeks ago but I havent said anything to BD.

If I were in his shoes I would like to know how that would affect my daughter so I know I have to give him some info.

Of course Im not going to mention my paycut or the reasons for me quiting so I was just thinking about emailing something like this:

BD I just wanted to make you aware that I changed jobs and this will be my new hours which will let me spend more time with Valeria now that she is in pre-school. The benefits have not changed and she has the same insurance coverage than before. 

Thoughts?
