What am I doing wrong?? Washing question

I am new to CDing...LO is 6 days old so I have only been doing this for a few days.  I washed my AO1s this morning according to the directions on the Rockin' Green package - cold rinse, hot wash, cold rinse (they had only been sitting dirty since yesterday).  When I was putting them away, I noticed that there is still a slight poopy smell to them.  Baby is breast fed so it is that sweet poo smell, but I still don't want it in my clean diapers!  I don't know what I am missing to get that smell out...help!!!
