... have you noticed that you've had to make any adjustments to your wash routine?  (I'm not talking about adjustments, like scraping poo, that have to be made when baby starts solids, but other things that you've had to do for no apparent reason). 

For example - I noticed a few months ago that I started needing to use more detergent.  I used to fill the cup 1/3 full (we use Arm&Hammer for Sensitive Skin) and it got the diapers perfectly clean.  Now I have to fill it at least 3/4 of the way, or the diapers come out smelling faintly funky.  I am washing the same number of diapers, using the same water level, etc. 

Also, we've had periods of ammonia stink - one particularly bad one when DD1 was 8-9 months.  Now she's 16.5 months and we haven't had ammonia issues for months.  No idea what changed.
