Redness issues

For the last couple of months, it seems like we're constantly battling redness issues with DS.  He only gets red in the front where his pee is most concentrated.  It doesn't seem to matter what detergent we use, or if it's MF or natural fibers.  We even tried adding an extra fleece liner and it's not helping either.  DS doesn't seem at all bothered by it and it comes and goes throughout the day.  It just looks awful.  Have y'all ever had this problem?  What, if anything, helped you get rid of it?
