Help!! What do I tell her?

I am home with DD today who has a terrible ear infection (99.9% sure - doc appt. at 2:00).  We finally got her off of binky about a month and ah half ago and she keeps asking me for it.  Of course I want to do anything for her but I don't want to go back to the binky it was such a fight to get rid of it.  When I tell her that I don't have one she screams and cries....I am at a loss of what to tell her.  I keep telling her that we will have to ask the doctor if he has one when we go this afternoon (probably not the best idea since, knowing DD, she won't forget!).  I just don't know what else to do and its not helping that she is burning up with a 103+ fever!
