Making own fitteds...inside material question!

I want to attempt to make my own fitteds, but I am not sure what to put for the inside layers?? Anyone have any suggestions? Also, has anyone used any free CD patterns that they love?? Any to pay for that you absolutely love and it was worth it?? Thanks so much
