growth spurt or just really, really hungry?

Elise went through a growth spurt at 3 months (or at least what I thought was a growth spurt) and then started taking in more ounces of formula.  She had been on  6 feedings of about 5 oz for almost 6 weeks.  Then, last week, she switched it up to about 5 feedings of 6 or 7 oz (about every 3 hours) and slept from 8 to about 7 a.m.  The 7 oz feedings were mostly at night and in the morning.  I figured this would be her new pattern now that she's over 3 months.

But....  for the past couple of nights, she's been waking around 3 a.m. for an ADDITIONAL feeding of 6 or 7 oz.  Do you think this is just another growth spurt or is she just really, really hungry, lol?  I'm going to wait it out and see what happens this week, but is it okay for her to drink more than 35 oz in one day?  I'm a little concerned that we might be overfeeding her.
