Cutting out nighttime feeding?

I love our pedi, but he told me that Ben's fully capable of sleeping trhu the night, and I needed to cut out the nighttime feeding once he started feeling better. Any suggestions on how to do this? Is this a good age to start cutting it out?

HELP!
