Updated:  Positive.  He's got mono.  

 

They tested Jakob for mono.  We're waiting for the results.

Apparently they treat mono with Valtrex, the herpes medication.  Who knew?

Best part of my week:  DH's company is slightly incompetent.  We requested they change Jakob's last name on the insurance, instead they deleted him completely.  Jakob has no insurance right now.  They can't fix it because the HR Dept is in Virginia and they don't work when it snows. 

I looked it up and Valtrex is pretty expensive.  I'm going to be extremely annoyed if he tests positive and we have to pay for this out of pocket.
