I ended up doing my first IUI on 1/17/11.  I went in for an ultrasound on 1/15/11 and had 4 mature eggs from 50 mg of clomid, due to our MFI my RE wanted to go ahead an I did a trigger shot.  Although I was pretty doubtful my first IUI would work,  I did have some hope that my Dh's slow swimmers would reach at least one of the eggs. 

I'm really bummed that my DH's count had improved 3 months ago and now it was back down to 9 million.  I think he's been slacking on taking his girl pills (clomid) faithfully.

I'm feeling sad that maybe the 1st RE was right that IVF with ICSI will be our only option, and we definitely can't afford that anytime soon.

I'm mostly sad that my Mom was so hopeful and excited and I really wish this would have worked so my family could have something to be happy about. 

This roller coaster is rough, don't know how some of you ladies stay on it for so long.  ((HUGS)) TGIF!!
