Can I suggest a shower location to hostess?

My cousin is throwing me a baby shower and wants to have it at her place which is over an hour and half from where I live. Her place is a small apt. with very limited city parking. I have a spacious house with outdoor area, perfect for holding a good number of guests. Most of my guests live in my area vs hers, and my house is more spacious and has ample parking... But because she is doing all the cooking, decorating, etc.. (along with my sister), she is annoyed and mad that I am even suggesting having it at my house, "since it is a gift". [She said all cooking and prepping will be easier at her place in her own kitchen, and I should just cut my 30 person guest list down to 10-15 people max.) I also don't want to drive an an hour and half away to go to my shower at 8 months pregnant.. nor do I want my guests to have to drive that far. Is it wrong for me to be involved or suggesting where I want it to be held?
