Pregnant after IF

35/35 spent in the ER

I scratched my cornea.  This is truly the worst pain I have ever experienced.  Like a moran, I pushed through the pain for four hours before waking DH that I needed to go the ER.  I wanted him to get as much sleep as possible before I couldn't take it any more.

I am not a good eye patient.  I have/had great eye sight and avoided the eye doctor like the plague.  There is nothing like having multiple doctors trying to see into a swollen, searing painful eye -- all while I am sobbing from the pain.  They couldn't give me as much pain meds as usual because of LO.  I tried to go without.  ER chief of medicine kept me to monitor my pain tolerance.  It was zero.  After an hour, I was begging for whatever was allowed.

ER doctor told me my left eye is currently legally blind.  Eye specialist was more optimistic.  My eye is all patched and teary (which is good hopefully its healing).  My right eye is so tired for compensating that I spend hours with both of them closed.  I have actually learned how many steps are required to function within my kitchen with both eye closed.

My dog had puppies on Thursday morning.  DH was home for the first day and has been away with the military since then.  Friday was spent just simply surviving.  Enough food/water for me.  Helping my dog with the puppies.

I missed my sister's bridal shower yesterday.  I was the hostess.  My dad picked up all the bridal shower items and brought them to my mom.  I missed my bff's son's first birthday party today.

On top of all that, my house is a wreck.  The inside is being painted and the floors are being done.  The painter came and went; I slept through the whole thing.  Never paid him.  The floor guy didn't show up.  I have done nothing but laundry for the dogs.

LO has found my ribs.  I have been awake every 2-3 hours due to the pain, LO kicking my ribs, cervix pain, and puppies crying.  I have been sleeping in the garage (in a chair) with the puppies.  It was too much going up and down the stairs.

On the best side, SSs are finally behaving.  They have been great bringing me water, changing the dogs' linens, etc.  I can't wait until DH is home tonight.
