Awkward Painful Sex Question

I know everyone says there is no such thing as TMI on the boards...but when you are the one with an awkward question it sure feels like TMI!!

 

I was on pelvic rest for about four months -- self-imposed prior to ER due to being uncomfortable; then doctor ordered from ER to beta; then extended due to OHSS; then extended due to bleeding.  When our MFM gave us the green light, I was very excited.  Most.painful.experience.ever.  (Felt like a bandaid being ripped off repeatedly)  So, I thought it was just because it had been a while.  The next time, we tried more foreplay (I seem to be producing ZERO natural lube} and lots of lube.  Still extremely painful.  Third time's a charm, right?  Wrong.  I tried using Pre-Seed internally.  That didn't help either.

So my husband is being such a sweetheart about the whole thing, but I feel terrible!  I mean...I want to have sex too!  Any advice?  Does it sound like my cervix is super sensitive?  I have no idea what to do!
