L&D and Classes

So my craptastic clinic has not even attempted to talk about our plans for labor and delivery or when I should sign up for classes. 

So when is the normal time frame for these types of things? I feel like being high risk I should take them sooner rather than later but I really have no idea. I know virtually nothing about labor, delivery, breastfeeding, etc etc.
