On to the bad...The doctor also mentioned a concern with Baby's heart. There might be two small holes in the lower chambers of the heart. This is called Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) and is the most common heart defect. The doctor assured us that they often correct themselves and if not, are very treatable. Of course, I've been reading every reputable website out there and it really does seem like something that can be dealt with and kids can go on to have a healthy life. I'm praying we won't have to have heart surgery on our sweet baby and that the problem will correct itself.
Anyone happen to have any experience with VSDs or know anything about them?
