TMI Question on...well, labia burning....

I know it's possible to get an external yeast infection and even more so when pregnant.  I just don't know if that is what this is, or if this is normal pregnancy stuff.  Sorry for how graphic this is, but I can't write around it.  Basically, for like 5 days my left labia (only on the front part) has been really burning.  Like, when I walk or move it feels like the worlds worst razor burn.  But, it looks fine.  Swollen (but that's been the case for a while) but fine--not red, not bumpy, no cuts, no discharge, no odor, no itching....none of that.  Just this terrible burning sensation.

Is this just a pregnancy side effect from all the blood in the area?  I'm trying to wait it out until my next doctors appointment (in a week) but wondering if I shouldn't just apply some anti-fungal cream and see what happens.  Ugh.
