Anterior placenta and feeling movement outside

To anyone who's done this before:  About how long did it take others to feel kicks from outside with an anterior placenta?  I just found out I had one yesterday so I haven't been paying attention to any posts about this in the past.  I've been feeling movement for quite some time now and sometimes I feel it from the outside, but it's so gentle that hubby can't feel it since he doesn't have the inside sensation to clue him in.  Also, can you eventually see kicks from the outside even if you have an anterior placenta?
