Baby registry question

So, I know the baby registry thing has been brought up already a dozen times, but I'm curious: How did you put together your baby registry? Did you add clothes and little things that you know people will get anyways? Or just the things that you really had a strong opinion on getting?

STMs: Did people stick to your registry for gift buying, or just do their own thing and get stuff they want to get you?
