Metformin ?

I had my first OB appt today. He went over all the medicine that I am currently taking. He said that I can stop the Metformin today because it's not really doing anything since I was put on it to help regulate my cycles.

I have read somewhere that most people stay on it until they are at least 12 weeks and then wean themselves off due to the possibility of MC. Is this correct?

I can not wait to stop this but I want to do it at the right time and the right way!

What did your OB's suggest if you were on it?
