First OB Appointment Today

It was great. My OB did a transabdominal u/s today at our first appointment and we saw our two little peanuts wiggling and bouncing around, and their little hearts beating away. It was the best feeling. I go to the MFM on Thursday.

Edited to Add- My OB did say that I am at higher risk for developing diabetes during pregnancy because I am already hypoglycemic and both sides of my family are diabetic (my father, his brothers, my grandmother on my mom's side, her sister). She said she would test for it around 24 weeks. Is this when it is normally tested or earlier. She did say that even though I am high risk for developing diabetes while pregnant, she said it doesn't necessarily mean I will develop it. Her recommendations were to start watching my carbohydrates and exercising.
