Coughing

November 2012 in 1st Trimester

Ok, I had strep throat starting last saturday. I started meds on Sunday. Yesterday and today I don't have any symptoms except for this annoying, unproductive cough. I have coughing spasms all day and they get worse when I lay down to go to sleep. Does anyone know of a cough syrup or something I can take for this cough?

I suck on cough drops during the day and they help somewhat.
