Third tri ladies- preparing for baby

Has anyone been running into problems trying to be proactive before baby arrives?  It seems like everything on my list I try to accomplish is answered with... well you will have to do that once the baby is born!  It is making me a little anxious... I thought my job once baby arrived was to soley care for baby... yikes!  I think first on the list is apply for a SSC, then add baby to medical insurance, apply for short term dissability, apply for additional six weeks leave for FMLA due to the family care part, and submit prescription for breast pump.  Anyone been faced with the same delays or any others I am not thinking of?
