Douching: TMI

Hi ladies! I'm five weeks today with my second and I've noticed I have waaay more discharge than I used to. I need to change my panty liner all the time. This did NOT happen last pregnancy...is it a girl this time???

Anyway, I need to do something about this. Can I douche or will LO not like getting wet? I would hate if I made his or her environment uncomfortable! Also can LO fall out if I douche? Who has experience with this?
