My kid cracked me up this morning

My DD rarely wakes up in the night, maybe once every two months, and last night she woke up very scared and needed lots of hugs and love to go back down. So this morning I was changing her and getting her ready and here's what went down:

Me: Why did you wake up last night?

DD: I was scared.

Me: Of what?

DD: Of Jesus.

Me: Uh....that's strange, because usually I think Jesus is pretty nice. Maybe it was someone else?

DD: No, Jesus.

Me: Okay then.

Then she went on to tell on our neighbor and two teachers at school that Jesus scared her last night. Oh, DD...hilarious.
