First appointment tomorrow... mixed feelings

I have my first appointment with my OB's nurse-practitioner tomorrow.  On the one hand, I'm excited because - wahoo, a whole hour where I get to obsess about my pregnancy out loud!  On the other hand, my OB's office doesn't do u/s or anything this early, so they won't be able to tell me anything I don't already know, or reassure me that everything is going well.  Pooh.  Plus the inevitably painful pap/pelvic ritual.  And the blood draw!  *shudder*  So I keep going back and forth between - hooray, a doctor appointment!  And - whoop-de-doo, someone sticking their hand up my hoo-ha. 

 

So I guess I'm just ranting.  Thanks for letting me vent, lol.
