Magic Sleep Suit

So I had read a lot about the Merlin's Magic Sleep Suit and one thing I read was that you could try it for 30 days and send it back if it doesn't work.  Stupid me, I didn't actually read the return policy on their website, I just read that here and took it for granted.  So I bought the sleep suit thinking I could just return it if it didn't work out.  Now I've decided to just let my LO sleep on his belly because that's what works for us so I went and read the return policy and it says you can only return it if it's in the original packaging, never been washed or worn.  I guess what I read around here was wrong?  Has anyone tried to return it after you've washed it and worn it?
