Dr appts-FTM

So I had my first appointment on October 15th with a nurse. All she did was go over my medical history. I had another appointment October 25th with a doctor. He did an internal ultrasound and I got to see the baby and the heart beating. My next appointment (13 weeks) is scheduled for November 26th. The appointment is with a nurse. I asked to be seen by a doctor so I could have an ultrasound done (I want a pic for announcement purposes) and I was told they don't do ultrasounds in office and that even if I was seen by a doctor I'd have to schedule another appointment for an ultrasound.

I feel ike every time I talk to someone in that office I get a different answer. If they don't do ultrasound in house then what did I have done October 25th? Why wouldn't they do an ultrasound at 12 weeks? That would be one of the most important times...right before the 2nd trimester!?!

 IDK how you people go to all these appointments! I've already taken off work twice and I'm only 8w5d.
