Bittersweet day

A year ago this morning, I took my first pregnancy test, and it was negative. (I wanted to be pregnant so that I could dress up as a chef because I had a bun in the oven.)  It was also the due date for a baby I lost in March.  It started off to be a terrible day.  I ended up having to go to Target to get more candy, and bought another test.  At 10:30 pm, it was positive for my sweet Veronica. 

So while rejoicing in the day that I found out about my daughter, I can't help but think of the one I lost.  I can't believe it's been a year.
