Bumbo Question

I got a used Bumbo today and I'm wondering for those of you that put the little safety harness from the recent recall on it... are you glad you did?  Does it make you think the thing is safer?  If I only use it on the floor while she's being supervised isn't it just going to get in the way?  I have it, just haven't decided if I'm going to put it on.  

Flame me to high heaven if you will for considering not putting it on - maybe I deserve it?
