We have a busy summer. SS1 is graduating from high school (keeping FX), SS2's birthday, this LO's arrival, sister is getting married, DH's bff's wedding. Those are the biggies -- then put in the showers, family celebrations, reunion, etc.
August would be family-ideal for baptism (LO would be around two months). SS1 would not have left for college yet. All the family children are on summer break (families can travel). It would be between the weddings (sis will be GM, DH's bff will be GF). MIL would do the majority of the planning.
Do you think I am trying too much too soon? Other option is wait until October. It will be alot harder for people to travel and we will miss out on a lot of family attendance (kids back in school). I would be back to work by then as well.
Why am I doing this? Mostly because I am neurotic. Secondly the family calendar goes out in January for the year (I need to submit before Christmas). There are about 75 core family members. We all regularly consult the family calendar when planning. Basically if I want a time, I need to have it reserved. Yes we are "that" family -- and I love it.
