Maternity Leave take 2
I don't know if anyone remembers but I posted a while back about splitting my maternity leave due to my assistant director needing to take an emergency FMLA leave due to a cancer diagnosis. So at 6 week I went back to work. I work at a preschool, so DD goes to school there, so it was not a big deal separation wise or care wise.
Well, the assistant director came back a few weeks ago, is currently cancer free, and ready to resume full time work. So as of Nov. 1 I start the remainder of the 6 weeks of maternity leave! Those 6 weeks, coupled with the time we are closed for the holidays means that after next week I don't have to go back go work until January! I am pumped!! I can't wait to spend more time with DD now that she is older and a little more awake and fun. I am also so happy that my coworker is doing so great and her last scan came back clear!
