Update to DH getting fired

Just want to thank you all for the thoughts and prayers. DH called his dispatcher and asked him what time he should be in tomorrow. The guy was a total prick and was rude and told him that he didn't want anyone working for him who was a no show. Be doesn't own the company by the way. So DH calls the owner. He tells him why he couldn't come in and the boss gave him some grief too, but said that he would talk with the other owner. 20 minutes later, the boss gets back to him and says the priggish dispatcher will give him a call. Three hours later, still no call. So DH calls the boss again and asks if he should call jerkwad. Boss, sounding very pissed, says yes. So when DH calls the dispatcher again, he gets the busy tone, but finally gets a hold of him. He starts at 6 am tomorrow morning!!!

I am so relieved but worried that the dispatcher will get revenge by giving him start times at 10 or 11. They work 12 to 14 hour shifts, which means we will never see him and I truly need his help at night.

But he's going back tomorrow. Thanks again for the support!
