Pink Eye

My LO has been sick for the last 4 weeks. He first had RSV which led into an ear infection. He got better for about 4 days while we were out of town. When we got home and he went back to daycare he started again coughing and having a runny/stuffy nose but no wheezing like RSV. Yesterday I noticed his right eye looking watery and a little goopy. Well, this morning his little eye had mucous all over it when he woke up! I pulled the bottom lid down and it looks really red. So, I think he has pink eye!!! We have doctor's appt. for him at 3:45 CT today to check it out.

I hate, hate, hate knowing he likely feels bad! He also sounds a little hoarse when he cries today. I wish I could afford to stay home full-time with my LO; I hate daycare germs... and he only goes to daycare for 3 hours a day while I have office hours on campus! Ugh, poor baby!

Anyone else ever dealt with pink eye in a baby this young?
