What are the benefits

of chest swaddling (arms out)? Since he's become a little thumb sucker, after his long stretch of sleep, I can usually get 3 more hours out of his as long as he can suck his thumb. I'm wondering if I should try all night with just a chest swaddle but I thought the reason we swaddle them was to A. prevent the startle reflex and B. make them feel like they're in the womb. With arms out, what are the actual benefits?
