1st Trimester

First prenatal appointment

October 2012 in 1st Trimester

Hi ladies!!! I'm new to the boards and just got my BFP a week and a half ago. I called my obgyn to make my first appointment, and they told me they didn't need to see me until 10 weeks, which isn't until November 20th. This is my first, so I don't really know what to expect, and I feel like I'm hanging in limbo at this point. Does anyone know if it's common practice to wait so long to see the doctor?
