Fellow reflux moms, I don't know about you but DD is always guaranteed to spit up when I put her in the car seat, regardless of how long it's been since she's eaten. I've read a few things online (by googling) of some folks being able to reduce the spit up in the car seat by switching to a convertible car seat instead of the infant car seat. Right now I have a Chicco Keyfit 30. Do any of you use a convertible car seat? Have you seen an improvement in the amount of spit up?
I feel trapped at the house because she wasn't gaining weight for about 2 weeks so I feel bad if I take her anywhere that isn't absolutely necessary because of the car seat spit-up. But DH is leaving for another week so I'm going to have to take DD with me to the grocery store, etc while he's gone because I have no one else here to watch her. (we're military & family isn't close by)
Thanks!
