Dangerous Foods?

So I am neurotic about everything that goes into may body since I found I was pregnant. So, FI and I have been putting our wedding off for a couple years since everything thing went belly up the last time we tried to plan one. Figuring since we're having a baby now is as good a time as ever. I really want to serve Persian Love cakes, which is made with rose water, in place of a traditional wedding cake. Does anyone know if rose is safe during the first trimester?
