I'm a boring mom

I feel like I'm such a boring mom. DS is swinging in his swing right now "playing" with his toys. He's very content and he's just hanging out, but I'm at a loss of things that I can do to change it up for him. How many times can he really play on his mat, or hang out in his swing? I read to him occasionally, but we never make it through a book before he starts crying. I just feel like I'm so boring! It'll be so much nicer once he is actually playing with toys because that'll give us more options.
