Hematoma = Yes! / Thyroid = No!

The hematoma finally shrunk a bit and it even moved further down near the cervix and away from the baby, so I was obviously very pleased! I am no longer on bed rest (yay!) and I can be somewhat normal for a while.

They also started reducing my PIO to every other day, which also pleases me greatly. They have been starting to hurt more and more, maybe from bruising, and I am really getting sick of it!

The less good news is that my TSH level was elevated, so it looks like I have a lazy thyroid. There are a few people in my family with thyroid issues, so I guess it's not too much of a surprise. The RE put me on Synthroid to keep it level.

She said that the Synthroid may cause my skin to improve, less hair loss, better sleep and weight loss, so I guess I'll take it! Those s/e sound pretty good to me
