more fun 1958 BF'ing advice!

So, I've got this book from la leche written in 1958. Wrote about the section on quitting smoking....optional...a couple of days ago.

Well tonight's selection was about restarting your supply after not BF'ing for a month or more.

Have your neighbor help! "Jan, a nursing mother in Lorraine's neighborhood offered to nurse David." Goes on to talk about Jan filling in while Lorraine tried a couple of times a day...for a month!!!! Can you believe that was actually a solid plan?? I've heard of wet nurses, but that's crazy!

Then the last sentence randomly of that part randomly says "but it wouldn't have been successful wo the support of her husband." Yeah right, he probably liked checking out Jan's bubbies!
